Бала-Жиланды

The Bala-Zhilyandy mineral occurrence was identified during the late Soviet period as a result of deep geochemical exploration (mapping (KGK) drilling with sampling). Based on primary and secondary geochemical halos, 11 zones of sulfide mineralization have been identified at the site, with copper grades reaching up to 1.24%. The mineralization is presumed to be of the VMS (Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide) type based on its geological and genetic characteristics. A combination of geological and geophysical indicators suggests the potential for  discovering high-grade copper and gold-polymetallic mineralization at depth.
Prospecting and check-up works have been planned, including geophysical surveys and KGK drilling with comprehensive sampling.
