Shorskaya

Shorskaya lies 13 km north of the Kaskuduk VMS-type polymetallic occurrence and includes two showings: Sosnovoye and Karazhyrek. It is within the Armin-Sarsazan structural zone, featuring a wide schist zone and small Carboniferous intrusions. The main host structure is a syncline with quartz veins and hydrothermally altered rocks. The zone of altered rocks extends for 4.5 km with a thickness of 50–400 m.

Soviet-era work revealed strong gold anomalies (0.1–2.0 g/t), and Pb-Zn anomalies (up to 0.3%). Below the gossan - "iron cap", sulfide mineralization with up to 40% pyrite was identified. Further modern exploration and revision is planned.
