East Balkhash-2
The East Balkhash-2 exploration area is located in the Abay Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is part of the Taisogan-Zharyk ore cluster, which belongs to the Kalmakemel-Aktogay subzone within the Kotanemel-Balkhash gold-copper structural-mineralization zone. From a metallogenic perspective, this is a region hosting major copper-porphyry deposits such as Aktogay, Aidarly, Kyzylkaya, Nurkazgan, Kounrad, Besshoky, and others.
The East Balkhash-2 area includes the well-studied Zharyk South gold deposit, the Taisogan copper-porphyry deposit, and more than 10 identified mineral occurrences with exploration potential.
East Balkhash-2 is a large copper-gold ore cluster with targets at both exploration and resource evaluation stages.
